This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
If you want to animate Nuts and Bolts go for it... I won't be making any animations for them for a long time becuase im starting to work on a graphic novel..... it could take a while.
loops? do you mean in flash or the walkcycle in some 3d application?
If you're talking about flash then add 1 actionscript command to your last frame in the animation sequence. So lets imagine you have 30 frames in your sequence starting at frame 1 all ready to loop in flash...
1/ create a new layer, label it actions or similar so its easy to identify
2/ select the last frame of your sequence (in this example frame 30) in this new layer
3/ add blank keyframe
4/ open your actions panel.
5/ with frame selected, type/add this actionscript command
gotoAndPlay(1);
6/ test your movie out..
this is the simplest way to loop a sequence. For further reading maybe go check out the tutorials on flashkit.com or similar sites - they're incredibly useful when you're starting out, there's also a load of friendly and helpful folk over there too on the boards if you have flash related questions.
If you're talking about how to loop a walkcycle then It varies from application to application, I just get a character walking in Max (or Poser if I'm being lazy) & then extract approximately 30 frames that add up to a perfect cycle then import them into flash and use a similar method to the one I've outlined above.
